Phoenix Mercury center Brittney Griner went through adversity during 2023 with her being imprisoned in Russia, but she claimed at media day that she only wants to look forward to the future and not reminisce of what happened in the past.

Pondering retirement last year, Griner feels rejuvenated physically and mentally as she looks forward to helping Diana Taurasi and Phoenix achieve the ultimate goal of winning a WNBA championship.

With her wife Cherelle currently pregnant, she also can’t wait to welcome new life to the world.
